We left our home near Brighton at 2.30 a.m. in the morning arriving at the Ibis at 4.45 p.m. having completed a 14 hour journey we were greeted by the receptionist, who reluctantly stopped chatting to a colleague, she informed us that they had NO twin bedded rooms for disabled people on the ground floor, the only twin bedded room they could offer us was on the first floor. Neither of the two staff was present and I had to wait 4-5 minutes after calling before anyone reappeared to serve me.
